Step 1 To Managing Your Health (and FEELING GREAT) While Traveling

Despite traveling being a lifelong dream of mine, it wasn't until the last few years that I figured out how to feel good while doing it.

Today we're talking Step 1!

STEP 1.1️⃣ Identify the type of trip = YOLO/leisure, find a balance, OR maintain current trajectory.

STEP 2️⃣2. What are your dominoes?

STEP 3️⃣3. Is there anything you can bring or prep?1️⃣

Each of these approaches requires different mindset. Only you can decide what’s right + appropriate for your goals. Just be at peace with your decision!

1️⃣YOLO
Honeymoons, overseas trips, vacays

✅ENJOY YOUR TIME. If that means letting loose, so be it. Hit the absolute basics (hydrate, crush protein/veggies when able, and a light stretch each day).

2️⃣BALANCE
Limited control but don't wanna go cray (i.e. business trips, longer vacays)

  • ✅Crush breakfast
  • ✅Bring travel-friendly snacks
  • ✅Prioritize sleep
  • ✅Aim for steps or get in a few hotel workouts

3️⃣ALL WORK NO PLAY
On a roll and don't mind being a lil nutso to keep it going

????????You MUST do some research beforehand.

  • ✅What hotel offers (fridge, kitchenette, gym)
  • ✅Grocery stores
  • ✅Local gym access

Pack as much as you can.

  • ✅Protein powder
  • ✅Dried nuts (be careful not to overconsume)
  • ✅Bars - ensure it ACTUALLY has 15g+ of protein
  • ✅Routine favs (like lavender oil, digestive enzymes, blue blocker glasses)
  • ????????NAIL your routines
  • Practice the same rituals whether you're at home or a hotel room: such as morning, bedtime and recovery practices.
