MACRO TARGETS Don't Mean a Thing

  • ????Meal planning
  • ????Figuring out when and how to acquire the food you need
  • ????Putting together meals you will actually want to eat when mealtime rolls around
  • ????Doing that 3-4x times a day
  • ????Translating your body's response and knowing how to adjust to get the results you want

Jumping into macros with no foundation or systems is like going from 0-60. Might turn out ok in the end, orrrr you might get whiplash and be scared of driving for awhile.

Listen, I'm actually not hating on macros - it is a PHENOMENAL tool when used appropriately and implemented at the right time (which is the point I’m trying to make).

In fact, I teach all my clients how to use it, so they decide for themselves if it's something they always have in their toolbox (whether they use it or not).

I’m an advocate for you knowing WHY you’re doing what you’re doing. And I’m an advocate for you setting yourself up for success.

So, if you want to go with zee macros, here are some things to consider that will help you be successful...

  • When is a good time for you to plan out your meals (and ensure they have the right amount of structure/flexibility for your temperament)?
  • How can you set up your life so that you aren't affected when sleep, stress, or work come in and try to throw you off?
  • How can you make sure food is available when you need it, so you don’t say eff it and Uber eats or eat a jar of almond butter?
  • What are you going to do when you don't hit your targets?
  • What will you do if your body doesn't respond in the way you expect? What signs will you be on the lookout for?

There’s a reason I evolve all of these elements in FHF, so that students are READY for macros when they get to it.

Macro targets don’t mean a damn thing without systems and the ability to interpret them.????
