Boy, do I have some thoughts after working from home for 10 years.
In case you ever wonder why I'm always yammering about routines and systems, it's because my default system is doing "whatever I feel like doing."
Left unchecked, I can work unmitigated magic for a period of time - but uhhh, I'll leave you to imagine the level of potato that usually follows.
I'd like to think I've simply applied the scientific method to being productive from home... you know, tried LITERALLY EVERYTHING that doesn't work first. Here’s what does work...

5 MUST-DO'S WHEN WORKING FROM HOME
1. WRITE OUT YOUR ANCHORS
2. BLOCK SCHEDULE
It's WAY too easy to lose the ability to compartmentalize when you can get up for water and see dishes that need washing or clothes to put away. Put together your daily/weekly schedule with blocks of time set aside for things like...
3. MOVE FIRST
If I don't, I just keep putting it off. Here are people putting out great content here...
4. CHECK ELECTRONICS
5. GLAM IT UP
Alright fine, so most days I don't even put on pants. But even I will admit it can be easier to focus when I've brushed my teeth and am not wearing PJ's. If you're not used to being at home, I encourage you to still "get ready" for the day.

Which one are you going to implement first?
